I thank all the people who were there helping my mom out, we really appreciate it from the bot tom of our hearts. I am in a correctional institution here in Idaho. I'll be going to board this month so hopefully our Grand father will make his decision for me. I have learned my lesson. I'm doing fine, thanks to all of your thoughts and prayers. To my family, I am real sorry for my past, I hope you all can forgive me and accept my apologies! I love and miss you all. I was also pictured in your paper when Larson Kalama honored his uncle of World War II. As I see, I very seldom see any honoring of that kind...maybc a few at powwows. But Woody Sm ith has rarely been spoken of. And at the honoring, he spoke of his combat trauma for the first time since World War II. I also honor this veteran. What Larson Kalama did was a traditional thing for his uncle. Tradition is going out of whack. I dropped an Eagle Feather in White Swan and there was no pick-up cer emony. A non-Indian, non-Veteran carried my Eagle Staff at the October 5 Northwest Indian Summer Cel ebration. I just want to let the brothers and sisters of the powwow circle to keep in minds the tradition and spirituality of the powwow is great. I enjoy reading your paper very much. Thank you.
