Children in the Early Childhood Development
Program continued their education on the parking
lot of the Warm Springs Community Center during
Zoo Day, Monday May 13. They had the opportun
ity to observe animals in close proximity and even
touch and ride some.
Zoo Day is held annually says Early Childhood
Development Program parent health coordinator
John Nettleton. Children are introduced to animals
in the classroom through stories and with ant farms
and guinea pigs before their experience is expanded
with the Zoo Day activity.
