After a very success ful 1990 festival, more booth space will be available for artists to dis play and sell their work than in the past. Categories include painting, pottery, basketry, jewelry, graphics, drawings, sculptures, cultural items, and attire. Each year Red Earth sponsors a number of cash awards for indi vidual work. The museum at Warm Springs has not had a formal name since its inception, although there have been several suggestions: the Warm Springs Tribal Museum; the Warm Springs Tribal Museum and Cul tural Center; the Museum of the Three Confederated Tribes; the Museum of the Three Confeder ated Tribes at Warm Springs; the Warm Springs Heritage Center, among others. He was born November 10, 1945 in Olympia, Washington. Kalama was a Nisqually Indian tribal leader and worked with the Northwest Indian Fishery Commis sion. He also served on the tribal fishery commission.
