Responsible for providing child care and
supervising duily activities of children.
Primary duties include preparation of
meals, transportation for medical care and
recreation. Must follow established CPS
Center policies. Must be available lor
rotating shifts. Must be drug and alcohol
free. Current ODL required.
Provide full substance abuse treatment
services. Responsibilities include outpatient
individual and group work, rigorous record
management demands and rotating crisis
coverage. Job requires Masters, will con
sider AD certification.
Bachelors degree in accounting or a re la led
field. Must have minimum of three to five
yean of related experience in industry
and or public accounting.

Incumbent must be dependable and have
home phone where she can be reached.
"On-call" to fill-in while the permanent
1 full-time secretary is out of town on busi
ness, or on vacatjon status. Incumbent will
be responsible for screening telephone calls
and public. Confidentiality must be main
tained of all material and information per
taining to the position.
Responsible for developing and imple
menting a soil management program.
Planning problem analysis and under
standing the interaction of Natural Re
sources are important attributes. Bachelor
of Science degree. 3-5 years of related
experience preferred.
Responsible to manage entire process
legislation and regulation while at same
time coordinating information from the
judicial common law and administrative
rules. Will also be responsible for main
tenance of codification systems and tribal
government policy library. College degree
preferred or able to demonstrate college
level work for analysis and communica
tion. Five years experience with tribal
government with 2 years staff experience at
organization wide systems.
Works various hours, high school diploma
or GED required, good typing skills, be in
good health, beat least 18 years old and no
felony or misdemeanor conviction within
the last vear Drior to hire.
Responsible for developing a housing need
assessment of all reservation housing and
writing grant applications to outside fund
ing programs to endure maximum funding
for repair replacement and new construc
tion of Tribal member housing. High
school diploma required or equivalent, 6 to
8 years related experience, must possess
. Oregon driver s license.
Bachelors Degree in accounting or related
field. Must have a minimum of five years
experience in industry andor municipal
accounting and in "managing all of the
major operational functions within an
accounting department. Experience in
operating a microcomputer including
Lotus 1-2-3 and Wordpertect.
Desire to learn, able to communicate well
and have positive thinking. WSAI will
train for existing positions.
MCH specialist shall be responsible tor iuw
direction of the Tribal Maternal Child
Health Program. Should provide preven
tive maintenance and family planning
service, home visits, consultation referrals,
conduct coordinate specialty clinics, plan,
develop and administer the program bud
get, compilecomplete special assign
ments. At least 21 yoa, high school diploma or
GED, and valid Oregon driver's license.

operate the unit.
"We believe our customers should
insist on the most energy efficient
appliance possible," McConnell
said. "The .EnergyGuide label is
designed to assist customers make
wise choices in their appliance pur
chases helping them separate
energy efficient models from energy
wasters."
McConnell added that Pacific
encourages its customers to use
energy wisely even though the
energy services company has tn
ample supply of electricity.
"Purchasing an appliance with
an estimated annual cost of opera
tion displayed on the front is a
good way to assure the best buy for
the dollar," he said.

Raymond Alexander Tohct, age
21, died at his residence November
17, 1990. He was born November
17, 1969 in Madras to Alexander
and Phyllis (Polk) Tohct.
He attended schools in Warm
Springs and Madras and had
attended the Marsing Job Corps in
Marsing, Idaho. He was a lifetime
resident of Warm Springs. An en
rolled member of the Confederated
Tribes of Warm Springs, he enjoyed
hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, a
brother, David Brian Tohct and a
sister, Harvianne Tohct. Also sur
viving are his grandmother, Max
ine McKinley; uncles Richard
Tohct. Jimmy lohct, Jerry Polk,
Ian Tohet and Dcmpscy Polk. Jr.;
and his aunts Anna Polk, Mary
Tohct, Gloria Queahpama and
Teresa Avalos. He was preceded in
death by his grandparents Harvey
Tohct and Dcmpscy and Ada Polk.
A prayer service and viewing
were held at Bel-Air Colonial Fun
eral Home prior to the dressing,
which was held Wednesday,
November 2 1 at the Agency Long
house. Overnight services, conduct
ed by Larry Dick and Silas and
Purnie Williams were held at the
Agency Longhouse. Burial was
Thursday, November 22 at the Dry
Creek Cemetery.

Dennis Henry Starr, aged 44,
died November 21, 1990 in a vehi
cle accident on U.S. Highway 26.
He was born September 5, 1946 in
Warm Springs to Samuel and
Louise (Stwyer) Starr.
Starr attended Madras High
School and worked as a bio-tech
for the tribal natural resources
department. He was a lifetime resi
dent of Warm Springs except for
the 10 years he lived in Chicago,
Illinois. While in Chicago he grad
uated from diesel mechanic school.
Starr was an enrolled member of
the Confederated Tribes of Warm
Springs and enjoyed all sports,
stick games, fish and raising cattle.
He enjoyed playing football in high
school. He served on the tribal
Land Use committee.
On November 7, 1963, he mar
ried Ramona Crowe. They had
four children.
He is survived by his wife; his
children Lenora Doney, Rhonda
Starr, Joseph Starr and Florence
Lindy Starr; his mother Louise
Hellon; two brothers Samuel Starr
and James Starr and three grand
children, Sara, Jerome and Dennis
Doney. He was preceded in death
by a brother Theodore Starr and
sisters Judith Starr and Teresa
Starr.
Dressing ceremonies were held
Thursday, November 22 at the Sim
nasho Longhouse. Overnight ser
vices followed. Phillip David and
Wilson Wewa officiated. Burial was
at the Simnasho Cemetery Friday,
November 23.
Vernon Marcus Suppah
Vernon Marcus Suppah, aged
36, died November 20, 1990 in a
vehicle accident on Highway 26.
He was born February 23, 1954 in
Simnasho, Oregon to Franklin and
Margaret (Frank) Suppah.
Suppah attended schools in
Warm Springs and Madras and
graduated from Madras High
School in 1972. Suppah was a self
employed horse trainer and a life
time resident of Warm Springs. He
enjoyed horses and playing bas
ketball. He lettered in both foot
ball and basketball in high school.
After high school, he attended East
ern Washington University in
Cheney where he studied account
ing and played oasketball for the
University.
Surviving Suppah are his par
ents, his sons Vernon and Jake
Suppah; brothers Frankie, Ronald,
Lincoln and Loren Suppah; sisters
Wanda VanPelt, Leona, Lorraine
and Joyceline Suppah. Suppah was
preceded in death by his grandpar
ents Charlie and Myrtle Frank and
Frank and Clara Suppah.
Dressing ceremonies were held
at the Simnasho Longhouse Thurs
day, November 22. Overnight ser
vices followed with Delbert Frank
and Pierson Mitchell officiating.
Burial was at the Simnasho Ceme
tery Friday, November 23.
Deverle Raymond Winishut
Enrolled member of the Confed
erated Tribes of Warm Springs,
Deverle Raymond Winishut, aged
27, died November 20, 1990 in a
vehicle accident on U.S. Highway
26. He was born March 30, 1963 in
Prineville, Oregon to Dallas and
Virginia (Tiamackmack) Winishut,
Sr.,
Winishut attended schools in
Warm Springs and Madras and
was employed at Warm Springs
Forest Products Industries. He was
a lifetime resident of Warm Springs
and his hobbies included basket
ball, rodeo, hunting, fishing and
auto mechanics.
He is survived by his father Dal
las Winishut, Sr., his mother Vir
ginia Mitchell; two sons, Deverle
Tiamackmack Winishut and Nath
aniel Winishut; a daughter Teshina
Morningstar Winishut; brothers
Darrell, Joseph, Dallas, Jr. and
Derek Winishut; and a sister, Cece
lia Stormbringer. He was preceded
in death by his grandparents, a
brother, Ross and a sister, Victoria
Winishut.
Dressing ceremonies were held
Thursday, November 22 at the Sim
nasho Longhouse. Overnight ser
vices followed with Pierson Mit
chell and Larry Dick officiating.
Burial was at the Tenino Cemetery
Friday, November 23.

Baby Girl Culps was stillborn
November 22, 1 990 in Boise, Idaho
to Florence Ellen Culps.
She is survived by her mother;
three brothers, Aaron Eli Culps,
Christopher Culps and Elexis Ray
Anguiano; two sisters. Alexandria
Anguiano and Sheens Culps; her
grandmother Susan Slockish; a
great-grandmother Ellen Squiem
phen and a great-grandfather, Eli
Culps, Sr.

Saturday, November 23 at Bel-Air
Colonial Funeral Home. Overnight
services were held. Burial was at
the Simnasho Cemetery Monday,
November 26, 1990.
