Finley. According to a person with the Oregon State Activities Associa tion (OSAA), the ball has been approved by the National Federa tion of State High School Associa tions for use. It was also approved by the OSAA for use next season here in this state. This is entirely up to the coaches to decide on whichever they want to use. The main feature for the use of this ball is it can be seen much better at night especially for the pass receivers. At night is when most of the high school games are played across the country. The stripes on the ball be be painted length wise in fluorescent yellow stripes. During the games the two teams can use whichever type of ball they prefer, they are not required to use what the other team is using. V , ; 1 ' r a i J U is a new feature for the coming I - . ) .
