He was 83. Linton was born June 5, 1906 in Linton to Frank and Nellie Wini shut. He was a lifetime resident of Warm Springs. He was retired as a building inspector for the Tribes. He also worked as a blacksmith, farrier, carpenter, rancher farmer, operated a dairy and worked in a sawmilK He taught Indian culture and history at Central Oregon Com munity College and had been a tri bal interpreter since 1934.
