Lincoln's Powwow Committee 1 Each year we look back to the past year and re-cap all the events that took place and to remember all of our friends we have dealt with during those months that are in the past. We have had some marvelous times and not so marvelous times. But to make a story short, it has been a great pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with you. It may have been just a small gesture, but even the smallest of things can be realized as a huge one. We have made several new friends during the year and we hope we have had some satisfaction from our old friends. Spilyay Tymoo, which was established 1 4 years ago, was set up to keep tribal members informed on what's happening in and around the community. That, we have done to the best of our ability. It is impossible to be at several places at one time but we try to cover as much as we can. There are events that take place that we are unaware of until after the fact. There is some information that is not released to us for news, but yet we see the same thing splattered in the Bend Bulletin or other outside newspapers.. .But like I said, I hope we have done well for those who continuously contribute news items for all our readers. I just hope we have not offended anyone in anyway, but if we did, I am truly sorry for the unfortunate incident. Of course, we do have the policy that gives us the right to edit all material submitted for the news and we are always happy to receive anything people would like to shaVe wth the rest of the community. There are times when people have things that happen just once in a lifetime and would like to share it with the readers. We encourage readers to give us a call. Photos are a way that can live for a lifetime and will always be there whenever someone would like to look back at the past. But, most of all, on behalf of the entire Spilyay staff, I would like to wish everyone the Merriest Christmas and may your new year be the most properous one ever. The nineties are upon us and hopefully things may become a little better for everyone. "Eee Ough"!!.
