Warm Springs, Oregon May 20, 1988 PACE 7 Give life a chance Spilyay Tymoo During the month of April ; osier contest sponsored by the ribul Community Prevention office and the Warm Springs Elementary School was held for students at the Warm Springs Elementary school. The selected theme for students was "Give Life a Chance." Certifi cates of participation to each of the 321 elementary students who sub mitted posters. Ribbons were awarded for first, second and third places in each classroom. The posters were on display at the Warm Springs Tribal Adminis tration building the first two weeks of May. Judging the posters were Dclvis Heath, Chief of the Warm Springs; Chief of the Paiutcs. Vernon Henry; and Tribal Council member, Ellen Johnson with alternates Joe Henry and Ann Kirkwood. Because of the long bus rides, most of these youngsters endure, their tummy's really appreciated the nou rishment. A big thank you to the parent guardians and for the teachers help!
