the Ladies Auxiliary of Post No. 4217, prepared a dinner for
v me local veterans on November 11, in the Agency Longhouse

HIM veierans Present, enjoyed a hardy meal of roasted salmon,
1 roast beef and all the trimmings. The meal fit for a king was
enjoyea Dy several wno were arouna ine community for the
day. There were no formal speeches, just some simple
remarks by a few speakers. Everything went well and of
course, tne meal was great.
The local VFW Post No. 4217. was one of the onlv All
Indian membership posts throughout the country. The Post
