May 16 at Ginger’s house at
6:30 p.m. The April rodeo went
very well and, as a result, we’re
expecting to have one heckuva
good rodeo on June 25 and 26.

Seeking queen candidates
The Warm Springs Rodeo
Association is looking for
young girls between the ages of
13-16 to run for the title of
Queen of the 1983 eighth
Annual. Treaty Days All-
Indian Rodeo. The rodeo will
be held June 25 and 26.
Candidates must be of
Indian descent, single, residing
Perhaps you sent a lovely card
or sat quietly in a chair
Perhaps you sent a floral piece
If so, we saw it there
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
As any friend could say
Perhaps you were not there at all
Just thought of us that day
Whatever you did to console our hearts
We thank you so much, whatever the part

A group of concerned
citizens is holding a meeting to
discuss the possibilities of a
trade school for the young
people of the Warm Springs
area. The meeting is tenatively
scheduled to be held at the
Agency Longhouse on May 26,
1983 at 7 p.m.
