Summer activities at
the Community Center
The Warm Springs Commu­
nity Center has many things
planned for children this
summer. Please read on.
Cookie Monster Club—This is
a program of arts, crafts and
cookie making. I Chas a Sesame
Street motif. The program runs
from June 15 to July 20 from
2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. It is
limited to 12 children ages 4 to
5 year.
Act it out—4 to 5 year olds will
learn one play during this
s e s s io n w h ic h w ill be
performed August 5 at the
summer program open house.

27 to August 3 from 2:00 p.m.

children.
Story Time—This is a quiet
time for children 4 to 6 years of
age. It will be held from 2:00
p.m. to 3:15 p.m., July 21 to
July 28. Children will be
involved in hearing stories
along with arts and crafts and
puppets.
W aterplay —C h ild ren will
learn a variety of water play
games in this program. It is
limited to 14 children, 3 to 6
years of age. The dates are July
19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 from*
3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Mother Nature Knows Best—
Arts and Crafts are utilized in
this outdoor program while
e x p lo rin g n a tu r e . It is
scheduled for 2:00 p.m. to 3:15
p.m. June 16 to July 14. This
program is limited to 12
children agest 6 to 7 years.
Let’s Play—Children must be
accompanied by a parent,
guardian or babysitter to
attend this play program. It is
designed for children 2 to 3
years of age and will be held
from 2:00 p.m, to 3:15 p.m.
