Brunoe trip continued from page 1

Japanese economy will be
discussed with emphasis on
Japanese tourism abroad.
There will also be a conference
with Japanese consumer and
trade press along with TV and
radio representatives.
Brunoe intends to talk with
the Japanese wholesalers and
leave with them brochures that,
w ill define K ah-N ee-T a’s
services. He will follow up by
writing letters to each of the
contacts made in Japan. The
trip will hopefully increase
Japanese trade at Kah-Nee-Ta.

interested in pursuing a
bachelors degree in Business
Administration.
The Educational Founda­
tion of America has funded the
schools to start a program to
help In dian stu d en ts to
successfully achieve a degree in
business in the areas of
accounting, marketing, finance
and other related areas.
Indian students .will have
advisement, tutoring, sem­
inars co-op experiences and
small classes that will be made
up of Indian students.
Indian businessmen and
women will be visiting students
to discuss current issues and
opportunities. An Indian law
class will be included to
fa m ilia rize stu d en ts w ith
important issues that affect
Indians.
Students must apply early
for consideration for admission
and for complete financial
a s s is ta n c e . E v e r y o n e is
encouraged to apply.

taken for Summer and Fall

Delmar Davis
Delmar Davis of Warm
Springs was killed in a car
accident March 13, 1982. He
was born in Redmond, Oregon
on March 28, 1955.
He had been a lifetime
resident of Warm Springs. He
attended schools in Madras
and Warm Springs, and was a
1974 graduate of Madras High
School. He was active in
wrestling, track and football
while in high school. He also
a tte n d e d M o u n t H ood
Community College where he
majored in Physical Education.
He was an enrolled member
o f th e W arm S p r in g s
Confederated Tribes and had
been employed with the Tribes
at the Information Center/ Gift
Shop since it opened in 1977.
He is survived by his father

Harrison Davis, Sr. and his
mother Floriene Comedown
Davis, both o f Warm Springs;
six brothers; Darryl Davis,
Dolan Waheneka, Dominic
Davis, Dixon Davis, Harrison
Davis, Jr., all o f Warm
Springs, and Dalton Davis of
Goldendale, Washington.
A lso surviving are two
sisters, Darla Davis and Dinah
Davis of Warm Springs; and
his grandm other F lorence
Meanus of Warm Springs.
Dressing ceremonies were
held at the Agency Longhouse
on March 15 with Nelson
W a llu la t u m o f f i c i a t i n g .
Overnight ceremonies followed
at the longhouse. Burial was at
the Tenino Cemetery on March
16.
