SILKEN THREADS
Love is like a silken thread that holds us heart to
heart— a silken thread, yet strong as chains. We
cannot draw apart. We are tied to those we love fo r
all eternity— held in bondage o f affection, gently/
tenderly.
Day by day and year by year the unseen ties are
wound— in and out between our hearts until we’re
closely bound— by ties as light as gossamer. In fairy
webs we’re caught in the tangled meshes o f
silken threads o f thought.
