Children’s summer
Thirsty and hungry people were in hick July 14th and the 21st because lunches and lemonade
were waiting fo r them as they passed b y the Community Center.

Sherry, Pheobe and M arvin are ju st a fe w o f the children at the C.C. who have been busy through
out the week preparing items such as “Cookie M onsters” fo r their sack lunch sale. A ssisted by
Instructor Carol Allison.
Kids have been working all summer in the Summer
Recreation Program at the Community Center
doing fobs such as Sack Lunch sales, a cookie
monster sale, car washes, a children’s rummage sale
and family bingo games. Their money-raising efforts
will go toward paying expenses for a “Super Trip” to
Oregon’s sunny beaches.
