Leonard Polk, Jr.
Leonard Polk, Jr., who was
born April 20, 1943, died in a
boating accident at The Dalles
M arch 25. 1978. He was with
two other fisherm an, Eli Culps
and D onald Isadore, both
Yakimas, at the time who also
drowned in the accident.
He is survived by six
c h ild re n , D ix o n , M ic h a e l,
C orrina, Brian, and Preston
Polk, and Les Paul Sam pson.
He is also survived by one
urc k
brother, M urphy Kay Polk and
three sisters, Naomi Polk,
Evaline C aponan and M elinda
Polk Luey.
Dressing was held a t the
Spencer and Libbey Funeral
H om e in The D alles on
Septem ber 20. The body was
transferred to the W hite Swan

afternoon and burial was today
