Jackie Estimo had plenty of time before the parade to look at other floats including this one from Portland's
(net Warm Springs’) Hollywood District.
The tow truck became part of the procession when the “Three Warriors” lost its power.

Now the fun starts

The parade started getting fun for Lucinda when she got the help and undivided attention of
Royal Rosarians.
The Tribes’ float sprouted legs while being
repaired.
Dodging raindrops
Gazing at the float and wondering whether to bolt or stick it
out, Luncinda Smith tried to keep dry and warm.

Barely able to contain her excitement, Jackie joined TV Star Rose Marie,, whose float was
parked next to the Tribes. - -

Having been hoisted up to her perch by a Hyster, Lucinda took the
lady’s way down — with the help of Royal Rosarians.
