Decorating And Egg Scramble Results
Got One!
Ribbons in her hair, tiny Sharon Jones found a lime green Easter Egg “hidden” at
the Community Center egg scramble last week. She was one of the eighty boys and girls
who participated in the hunt.

About 80 boys and girls were
on hand to hunt for hidden eggs,
candy and special prize eggs
during the Egg Scram ble at
“ high noon’’ on W ednesday,
March 29.
The annual event, sponsored
by the Community Center, took
place this year on the baseball
fields and picnic grounds behind
the Center. Kids w ere divided
into Pre-school, Kindergarten,
and F irst, Second, Third and
Fourth grade divisions with the
pre-schoolers having the most
“hunters.” z
On the day before the hunt,
fifth and sixth g ra d e rs m et at
the Community Center to help
prepare the eggs and to compete
in an Egg D ecorating Contest.

Satisfied after figuring out how to get the feather to stick, Jewell
creation at the egg decorating contest. She won first place for Most
