I am writing in response to

with some rather strong com
ments regarding the Warm
Springs Day Care Center.
The general theme of the
letter appeared to be in agree
ment with the feeling of many
working mothers. The choice of
words were emotional and pro
bably put some Day Care
Workers on the defensive. This
made quite a few of us work
ing mothers candidates for
hard eyes.

present time everyone is subjected to shopping in this area and
also to draw trade off highway 26 and from travel from
Kah-Nee-Ta. Does show more safety measures as the children
would not be exposed to the highway to and from the shopping
center. The majority of the local residents would not have to
travel on the highway which also lessens the prospects of traffic
accidents. Even though there would have to be a few houses
removed this would still show the best results. At the present time
some of these house should be condemned, the upkeep could be
too great for their value and also the occupants could move into
new and modern homes. The shopping center in this area would
also improve all the streets leading to and from highway 26. The
Kah-Nee-Ta junction would also be improved to insure safety in
that area.

WELL, THE INAUGURATION OF the new President, drew
several celebrities, actors, comedians, who spoke, sang and told
jokes, it was quite an affair. There was this guy remarking of
such fine talent. This guy even said that he was envolved in
politics at one time, but he pulled some bad deals when he was
running, so he kept running - right for the boarder. “Yikes”
