Benefit Parties On next Tuesday's calendar are the benefit J parties planned by Gamma Phi' Beta alumnae of Salem, the parties to be at the home of Mrs. Ralph L.. Easter Setting for Friday Wedding Calvary Baptist Church was the scene for a pre-Easter wedding last night when Miss Arlene Sue Darr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel R. Darr, was married to Dean Eldon Way, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Way. Easter lilies and blue and white, baskets of white stock and snapdragons decorated the church for the service. Vern Esch was soloist and Gab Follis played the organ. The Rev. , Berkeley Or mond read the rites for the couple at 8 o'clock. The two attendants preceding the bride to the altar were Miss Erna Darr, a sister, and Miss Patricia Johnson. They both wore white embossed organza over heavenly blue taffeta frocks, styled with fitted bodices, short sleeves, low round neck lines, and full skirts flaring from beneath blue taffeta cummerbunds with skirt length .sashes. Both carried white satin fans with blue carnations and white streamers. For her wedding the bride wore a while Chan tilly lace and tulle dress. It was styled with fitted bodice, a Queen Anne collar, long sleeves and bouf fant skirt falling in points front and back with flounce of nylon tulle. The fingertip veil was held by a satin pillbox edged in seed pearls and trimmed with opalescent sequins.
