Walter Weathers will direct. The famous work by John Stainer con tains the ever popular number of the Christian faith. "For God So Loved the World." Joining the adult choir for the musical finale will be the church youth choir of approximately 40 voices under the leadership of John Schmidt. Singing solo parts will be: bass, Arnold Lindstrand Jr. and Robert . It is a prelude to the Easter Sunday celebra Flames Burst From Christ's Tomb in JERUSALEM. W-Flaincs burst from the tomb' of Christ as the age-old ritual of the Holy Fire, dramatizing the Savior's rcssur rection, was reenacted today. Many lighted tallow candles or oil lamps from the flames. Roman Catholics are forbidden to parti cipate in this part of the ritual, because of the physical danger from fire. Thousands of pilgrims packed the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which watches over the tomb for the Holy Saturday services. The flames , brightened tne church interior, from the cold slonc floor to the arched windows high up near the dome.
