China Leafier Flies Off
To Moscow to Give
Missions Report
BUDAPEST W The Hungari
an people were told Thursday that
Communist China fully endorses
the action taken by the Soviet
armed forces in crushing the
revolution in Novemher. The Chi
nese Beds also support Premier
Janos Kadar'a program of ruth
less liquidation of remaining re
bels. ' Radio Budapest, the voice of
the Soviet-supported Kadar re
gime, broadcast a joint declara
tion signed by Kadar and It e d
China's Premier Chou En-lai
drafted during Chou's 20-hour vis
it here.
The declaration was similar in
tone to the Chinese-Polish state
ment released Wednesday in War
aw, where Chou was also a visit
or on a mission lining up restive
Communist nations behind un
questioned Kremlin leadership.
Chou flew off in a Soviet Jet
transport for Moscow to report in
person to the Kremlin on his War-
taw and Budapest missions. The
declaration was broadcast three
hours after his departure.
The statement was aimed main
ly at the United States. It ac
cused imperialists of starting the
Hungarian "counter-revolution" In
order to launch a conquest of the
East European people's democra
cies. It charged the United States
with manipulating the United Na
tions into interfering In Hungary's
Internal affairs.
It accused "the government of
the United States, as the chief In
tigator of the imperialists." of
trying to start a third world war
with its activities in Eastern Eu
rope and the Eisenhower Doctrine
for the Middle East.
The joint declaration paraded
many of the old cold war attacks
against the West, and demanded
"extreme vigilance" in all Communist-ruled
countries and a solid
land with the Soviet Union. -
Budapest Radio announced the
hanging of two more anti-Communist
rebels, Istvan Varga and
Jozscf Pinter. The broadcast said
that two others sentenced to death
had been let off with life impris
onment. Hungarian Justice Minister Fc-
renc Nezval told a Communist
correspondent from Vienna that
the Kadar regime hod held 101
trials Involving 127 persons. Of
these, he said, 18 'vere sentenced
to death, 7 had been executed, 3
were granted clemency and ap
peals from A of the death sen
tences still have not been dc
cided.
Radio Budapest, however, has
announced at least 24 death sen
fences and nine executions. Un
official reports have claimed
there were many more.

Hows In the house of an integration
leader were reported smashed by
gunfire last night during meeting
of the Negro Inter-Civic Council.
The disorder was the most re
cent in a long series in smuultler
lng integration difficulties here.
About 20 white persons attended
the council meeting. They were
identified as students at Florida
State university. They were scat
tered through the church where
the meetine was held

near the church.
Steele's home Is next door to
the church. Members of his family
were not at home.
Steele said a gun had been fired
at his house Tuesday night but
aid he had not reported it. Hocks
have been thrown through his win
dows on two occasions.
