The group, which will ting barber shop type selections and men's choir arrangements plans to sing at halftime during basketball games and will participate in the school's Christmas concert. Free Dogs Offered By Humane Society PORTLAND (UP) The Oregon Humane Society made an offer to day designed to make Christmas brighter for children. Some 180 dogs at the society's pound were offered free of charge, beginning Thursday. Spokesmen said the usual S3 fee or a license and $1 impounding fee will be waived between Thurs day and Christmas eve.
