The appropriation fs earmarked for Detroit, Ore., school district 123-J, and is contributed under provisions for federal assistance in federally affected areas. HOME GROWN TEAM BLACKSBURG, Va. in Vir ginia Tech's 1936 football squad is pretty much a home grown col lection of stars. Of the 35 players on the traveling squad, 25 live in towns scattered throughout Vir ginia. Three Plead Felony Charges ALBANY i Special Three men pleaded guilty to felony charges in circuit court last week end and two of them now in the state penitentiary. The third was parol ed. One of the trio, Gerald W. Sjolander, 24, had been paroled only a month a so after being sentenced to a year for writing a bad check. His parole was re voked and he was remanded to the penitentiary, for writing an other worthless check. He faces a one-year term. Facing the longr.st sojourn at the state prison is Keith I.. Coryell, 39, a parolee from the Washington state penitentiary at Walla Walla. Coryell was sentenced to 10 years for forgery. Sentenced to a year on a grand larceny charge was Michael F. Welton, Eugene, who last Tuesday, prowled a car belonging to Jack Grayson, Portland salesman. The 22-year-old Eugene logger was ap prehended in Kugene.
