Street Commissioner Meissner reported on the installation of tile Oak and Marquam streets: numbering of houses; cleaning up of flower beds, parks, and drain ge ditches; also additional gravel placed on Leo and May streets. Now Cily Officials MONALLA (Special) - When Molalla city council meets next Tuesday, new ' councilmen to be sworn in will be Elton Everliart, Ernest Clark and Jack Gregory. Holdover counciimcn are Ossic Marson, Raleigh F. Morrow and Dr. T. F. Johnson. Everhnrt and Clark are newly elected and Greg ory was re-elected, reports Mayor Fred Avcrill who also was re elected as mayor in the recent election. Their terms of office will start Jan. 1. LONGS HAVE GIRL MOLALLA (Speclal)-Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Long (Alma Belile) are the parents of a girl weigh ing eight pounds, born Nov. 29 in Silverton hospital. She has been named Fnyne Marie. Grades five through eight are In new building. One room was finished In 1956, the second room constructed in 1954. Methodists to Fete Pomeroy SILVERTON (Special) - Dr. and Mrs. J. M. Pomeroy and their family will be guests of the Sil verton Methodist church on Sun day. Dr. Pomeroy will address the congregation at the Sunday morning worship hour and with his family will be honored at the cofr fee hour in the church fellowship hall following the services. Dr. Pomeroy, who was on the staff of the State Tuberculosis hos pital In Salem, has just returned from serving as head of the tu berculosis unit of the 300-bcd, Melhodist-sponsored Clara Swain hospital In Bareilli, India, when he was stationed for five years.
