At Albany
ALBANY (Special) St. Mary's
Catholic church formed the back
ground (or the nuptial moss on
Saturday morning when Miss Tonl
George Ilch, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. G. K. Ilch, Albany, was wed
to. Elmer Francis fleuland, Salem,
son of Mrs. Leo Reuland and the
late Mr. Reuland of Albany. The
Rev. f'r. Martin Doherty said the
mats. The double ring service was
used.
The altar was decorated with
bouquets of fall shaded chrysan
themums. Serving as altar boy
was the bride's brother, Jay Ilch
of Ml, Angel, .
The bride was escorted' to the
altar by her father, She wore a
powder blue sheer wool, street
length dress with matching blue
hat and carried a bouquet of white
roses and bouvardio.
Miss Dec Ilch was her sister's
only attendant and wore a blue
tweed dress, with a winter-white
hat, and her bouquet was ol white
quill chrysanthemums.
Larry Albrich, Albany, served as
best man and ushers were Hilman
Opsal and John Huffman, both of
Albany.
Mrs. Thomas Hcnsler was at the
organ and played the nuptial mu
sic. For her daughter's wedding Mrs.
Ilch chose a cinnamon brown faille
dress with mauve shaded acces
sories and wore a corsage of rust
colored chrysanthemums. The
bridegroom's mother wore a black
dress, with rose shaded accessories
and a corsage of pink roses and
while carnations.
Following the ceremony a wed
ding breakfast was served for the
bridal parly and close relatives Of
the couple at the Candlelight res
taurant. The table was centered
with an arrangement of autumn
blooms and lighted candles.
The couple left on a wedding
trip to Canada, and for traveling
(he bride wore her wedding cos
tume and a corsage of while roses.
After November 9 the couple will
be at home at 763 South Commer
cial street in Salem.

Civic club met on Tuesday eve
ning, at the club rooms, with 15
members and three guests present
including Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Alli
son of the Dayton Tribune, and
Mrs. Gladys Chambers of Banff,
Alberta, Canada.
Mrs. Howard Lovely presided
over the business mceling when
the club voted to assist in the sky
watch, along with the Daylon
Iteoding club, taking every other
month on the 2ilth day. The club's
first 12 hour watch, in Ihrco shifts,
will begin December 28, from 8
