Miss Judy Long, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor and wore

Yellow gladioluses. Miss Beverly
Orownover, Dallas, in yellow taf
feta and Miss Mary Lee Dennis,
Falls City, in nile green taffeta
v.ere the bridesmaids. Their
ilresses and accessories were like
the maid of honor.
Mclvin Sylsberry was the best
man and Art Inman and Marsden
Murphy ushered.
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.
Long chose a cinnamon gold col
ored suit with accessories of
wedgewood blue. Mrs. Poe wore a
ray-brown dress with red acces
sories. Both wore corsages of pink
rosebuds.
The reception followed at the
Victor Ferguson home. Mrs. Har
old Gillman of Dillard, an aunt of
the bride, cut the cake. Mrs. James
Embree poured coffee and Mrs.
C. C. Fosbick, Dillard, another aunt
of the bride, presided at the punch
bowl. Mrs. Kenneth Taylor was
in charge of the guest book.
After a wedding trip to Seaside,
- the couple are at home at the C.
D. Embree home.
The bride was honored in early
September with a shower given by
Mrs. Roy Dennis. Mrs. Victor Fer
guson, Mrs. Mildred Wray, .Mrs.
Alvin Drake and Mrs. Sylvester
Tucker,
Observes Birthday
LINCOLN (SDeciaD Mrs. Sarah
Feller recently celebrated her 87th
birthday anniversary with ner son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
H. W. Ashford and Frank Ashford
at Lincoln.
Callers were Mrs. Feller's
granddaughter, Mrs. John Top
ping and Mrs. Clorinda Topping of
Salem. 1
