Members of the Leslie Methodist Church are" ulctured around
a sign erected Saturday on the site of the proposed Morning
side Community Methodist Church on .2th Ave. South near
the Morningside school. Four acres have been purchased for
the new church. On the building committee are Clarence
Stacey, Curtis B.ker, Mel Hewitt, Arch Mctzker and Jim
Bishop. Dr. George Hoseberry, superintendent of the Salem dis
trict and Pastor Robert Mcllvenna of the Leslie church were
present at the ground clearing ceremonies Saturday. Construc
tion will start in April.

Court of Domestic Relations. She!
is replacing Judge Joseph Felton
who is ill.
A resident of Sweet Home, Mrs.
Galey is an attorney in the Linn
County city. She is also the city
attorney in Sweet Home, having
replaced her husband, thc lute
John Galey, in that position after
his death last summer.
