Carlton GlennKerry Mnran of
Madison, Wis. Mr. Moran is the
son of Mrs. Joseph Raymoni. Mo
ran of Madison and the late Mr.
Moran. '
The wedding is planned ior the
afternoon of Sunday, August 29,
in tfie First Presbyterian church.
The reception following will be
in the gardens at the Ohling
home on South High street.
Miss Ohling is a graduate of
University of Oregon, where she
is a member of Delta Delta Delta
j sorority, and is a member of Sa
lem Spinsters club. She recently
returned from a month's stay in
the Hawaiian islands.
Mr. Moran attended University
of Wisconsin and was graduated
from the University of Oregon.
He is a member of Sigma Nu fra
ternity. The couple plan to make their
home in Eugene.
Tea for Visitor
Mrs. Vernon Decatur was host
ess Tuesday afternoon at an in
formal tea to honor her house
luest, Mrs. Flossie Tromblee, vis
itor from Klamath Falls. A srouo
of ZZ women and five children
attended. Mrss. Tromblee has
been here 10 days and will be
leaving this week end.
ON THE calendar for Sunday It
the annual mid-summer picnic for
the membership of the Monday
Night Dancing club, the party to
be at the summer home of Mr. and
Mra. E. D. Crabtree on the Little
North Fork of the Santiam. The
affair starts at 1 o'clock, the din
ner to be aerved at 4 o'clock.
MR. AND MRS. Herbert Levy,
of New York City, arrived Satur
day to visit at the home of Mrs,
Fanny Guild. The visitors wilL be
here about a week, and will enjoy
scenic trips in Oregon.
HOSTS Thursday evening at a
supper to honor their niece, Mist
Jane Walsh, will be Mr. and Mra.
Daniel J. Fry.
The party will be at the Fry
home following the reheasal for
the wedding of Miss Walsh and
Howard D. Gower, (lie couple to
be wed next Saturday afternoon.
ON A trip to Oberlin, Ohio, are
Mrs. Josef Schnelker and daugh

Visitors Here
MR. AND MRS. J. E. Flnley,
and daughters, Ann and Jill, Mr.
and Mri. Edwin Johnston, and
son Jimmy, and Cecil Doty are
leaving Saturday for jJntun Col
umbia for about, ten days. They
will go to Victoria, Vancouver,
and Kamloops fishing resort.
HOME from two weeks In Cali
fornia are Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gil
ford and family. They visited in
Sacramento and went at far south
as San Diego, (topping at various
places. . . .
Visitors at the A. A. Taylor
home for several weeks have been
Mrs. A. C. Curtis and Miss Grace
Curtis, mother and sister of Mrs.
Taylor, from Columbus, Mo. The
visitors have enjoyed trips to the
coast and mountains. They will
leave Sunday, by plane, lor their
home. Miss Curtis is chairman of
counselors at Stephens college
Saturday night the Taylors will
entertain at a dinner party for

B'nai B'ritb Tea ,
A tea was given by the B'nai
RVith Women's lodge, of balem
on Sunday, July 18, at the Temple
Beth Sholom. Proceeds of the tea
will go toward Hillel ana Ant
Defamation league.
Hostesses for the tea were Mrs.
John Golden, Mrs. Gerald Blum
and Mri. Abe Steinbock.
