The Great Alexander, National
League pitching ttar of the '10 s

cept a no-hitter. "Old Pete" hurled
one-hitters galore: in fact, in 1915
alone he tossed our of them for
an all-time record. But always the
elusive no-hitter slipped through
his fingers.
