Alumnae Meet
Mike Forbes, valley editor of
the Capital Journal, was guest
speaker for the February meeting
of alumnae of Theta Sigma Phi,
national journalism honorary,
Monday evening at the home of
Miss Genevieve Morgan. He told
of the story that won him one of
the $500 Pall Mall awards, also of
other big stories during his years
of newspaper work in Los Angeles.
At the business session. Miss
Morgan was named treasurer of
the group. The March meeting
will be at the home of Miss Mar
garet Magee.
HOSTESS to her bridge club for
luncheon and the afternoon, Fri
day, will be Mrs. S. D. Wiles.
