Arthur L. Crookham, Portland newspaperman since 1914, will
make his television debut Monday at 6:30 p.m., on KPTV's local live
"Mill Ends" show.
The veteran city editor, who served -more than quarter
century on the Oregon Journal's city desk, is now associate editor
of the editorial page. He has taught newswriting for the last
even yean, lirst at Vanport college, now at Portland State Uni

2:00 p.m., Omnibus Victor Borge, the pianist-satirist whose one
man show, "Comedy in Music," has been the surprise hit of the
current Broadway season, will be the principal guest. Other features
of the program will be an Alistair Cooke interview with ski lec
turer John Jay, the second installment of Capt Jacques-Yves Cou
steau's documentary on the recovery of art treasures from a 2200-year-old
Greek ship sunk off the coast of France, and "The End
and the Beginning," excerpts from the early and last days of
Abraham Lincoln.

8:00 p.m.. Toast or tbe Town Broadway actress Judith Ander
son will be one of Ed Sullivan's headline guests. Miss Anderson,
whose forte is tragedy, will be starred in a comedy sketch. Guest
