MEXICAN TRIP MADE
KEIZER Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Yunker, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred
L. Rose have rotumed from a
two weeks trip to Mexico. They
traveled 9,105 miles, going down
by way of California, where they
visited relatives. They entered
Mexico through Nogales and fol
lowed the new coast highway.
Mexican cities visited were: Ma
zatlan, Guaymus, and Mcrmsillo.
On the return trip they visited
Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Reno.

area, which runs from Rickreall
to Smitlifield in Polk cnuntv. N.

agent, reports.
A meeting of a number of land
owners in the area this past
week, resulted in the appoint-
to investigate further the pos
ment of a three-man committee
sibilities of organizing this dis
trict. Members named to this
committee were Jo Ilarland,
Howard Fleming, and Harold
Smith.
. The committee will make ten
tative plans for a water control
district, developing tentative
boundaries, and other informa
tion needed to draw up a peti
tion' for this district. The com
mittee states that as soon as the
preliminary work Is finished, an
other meeting of tV land own
ers will be called to discuss the
tentative boundaries of the area.
