Russell Wilson was re-elected president and Phil Bell re-elected secretary; Hugh Johnston and Fred Rohwcin were elected di rectors to replace James Lande and George Hydegger. It was also voted to assess each telephone member a fee of $5 to help defray the expense of the new telephone building. It was also voted to consolidate the lines and have them adequately repaired. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Downing visited Thursday and Friday with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carlcton at Fort Rainier, Wash. Mrs. Bert Lyons was called to Salem Tuesday by the sudden Long, their daughter, Mrs. R. A. Magee and son, Bruce, all of Corvallis and Mr, and Mrs. Fred Matzke. Her father remained and they took him to Portland Saturday afternoon, where he left by train for his home in Worthing ton, Minn. He has spent the past four months in Oregon. Pvt. Orval Nelson, who ,for the past two years has been with the Medical Corps of the Army, returned home from Pusan, Ko rea, the last of December. He and his wife will make their home in Dayton ior the present.
