brated their 40th wedding adversary recently at the Church
of Jesus Christ of Utter Day Sainta with a family dinner.
They have nine children and 26 grandchildren and all wen
present except one son, Wayne, who is in the navy.

gregation, the Rev. Paul Wayne

Woodburn Mrs. P. L. La
Barr was elected president of
Nydia court, Daughters of the
Nile, at the annual election of
officers Tuesday, at the all-day
meeting at the Woodburn Ma
sonic temple. She succeeds Mrs.
Jess Fikan.
Other new officers chosen are
Mrs, Hazel Vinyard of Canby,
vice president, and Mrs. Laura
Cattley, also of Canby, secretary
treasurer. Mrs. LaBarr has appointed the

farming and logging operations

school and served in the U. S.
Air Force until his release a
