BERLIN (INS)-A 21-year-old
East Berliner bought some ex
pensive eggs recently.
Harry Danznunn bought 720
ggs from a truck-driver who
worked for a Communist state
owned store.
Harry and his girl, Aaneliese
Klug, didn't know that the eggs
, bad been stolen, however. So the
two peddled a few eggs dally to
West Ber liners.
But a West Berlin court de
cided this was a clear cut case of
' smuggling Esst Berlin products

Three-months-old Francis Col ton Hammond, Jr. holds the
Congressional Medal of Honor awarded his dad. Navy hospital
eorpsman Francis Colton Hammond. Navy Secy. Anderson
presented the medal to Hammond's widow in a ceremony in
Washington. A native of Alexandria, Vs., Hammond was the

Senior Slugs '
His Sweetheart

Traffic Accident
Seen Roundabout
WESTPORT, Conn. (V Con
necticut state police learned
about a traffic accident! by way
of Philadelphia, Pa, 200 miles
away.
A "ham" radio operator, trav
eling in a mobile unit, saw an
automobile go out of control and
smash into an overpass. His
broadcast of the accident was
picked up by a fellow "ham" in
Philadelphia, who relayed it to
police there.
Philadelphia police, in turn,
put the report on the automatic
communication machine for Con
necticut authorities.
It all took ten than SO min
utes.
