stemming from an automobile
accident on Highway 99E about
a mile south of Brooks, were
filed in Marion county circuit
court Saturday.
William C. Seybert, one of Ihe
plaintiffs, asks general damsges
in the sum of 120.000 against
Osgood H. Munger. He also seeks
$1400 special damages and $560
loss of wages.
Marilyn Seybert, the other
plaintiff, seeks $15,000 in gen
eral snd $737 in speclsl damages.
William C. Seybert aays In
his complaint that the automo
bile he was driving was struck
by the vehicle in charge of Mun
ger. September 12, 1953. He
charges the defendant with net-
ligence in that he was operating
his vehicle on the wrong side of
the highway.

On Arson Charge

county in their trial on a charge
of arson. The case, docketed for
January 11 and 12, was based
on the destruction of the Moll
tor home by fire.

became the parents of the first
baby born in Albany in 1954.
The baby (king size) born at
12:02 a.m., weighed 11 -pounds 2
ounces. The Eason's son greeted
the New Year at the Albany Gen
eral hospital.
Little Mr. 1954 has three als.
ters, Kathryn, aged 12, Shirley,
10 and Charleene. who Was bnrn
on Halloween three years ago. The
casons naa not selected a name
for their first son, but their other
children are unanimous for

Only two freshmen of the 110
entrants into senior high school
from the eighth grade,, made a
grade of straight l's, in the six
hour a day schedule, the first
time ia the history of the local
schools, that such heavy assign
ments have, been given 9th grad
ers. These were Gail Larsen and
Betty Douthit The length of the
first term is 12 weeks.

president, Mrs. Bessie Morgan,
