from a letter found in La-
Salle's belongings, reported
she married him Sept. 25, 1929.
The sheriff said the Seattle
woman, now 76 and an old age
pensioner, reported she hadn't
heard of or from LaSalle in
four years. She came here to
meet the jailed LaSalle, and
Hilton quoted her as saying:
"I don't care what kind of
trouble he's in. I still love him
and will wait for him."
