South Salem School came
to a close on Wednesday after
noon with room parties for
both the Liberty and Salem
Heights schools. The room
mothers of each room were in
charge of the parties.
Christmas carols were sung
for the past week at the Sa
lem Heights school and on
Wednesday morning the stu
dents gathered around a large
Christmas tree In the entrance
and placed gifts under the tree
for Fairview home.
A Christmas program for
the upper grades at the Sa
lem Heights school was pre
sented by Mrs. Arvilla Foyer's
fourth grade on Tuesday af
ternoon. Mrs. Gladys Gar
rand's first grade also pre
sented their program on Tues
day afternoon for the lower
grades.
