Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Schuma-
ker and daughter, Carol,
returned Tuesday from a six
weeks trip that took them to
Pentacola, Fla.
Their itinerary took them to
fcfott, N. D.. for a few days'
visit with relatives. They stay
ed a week with relatives in
Creen Bay, Wis., due to illness
ef a member of the group. Fam
ily groups were visited in Mi
chigan, Chicago and Ramsey,
They then headed for Pen
lacola, Fla., where they spent
11 days with their son. Darrell,
B. N., who ia stationed at Saul
ley Field, Pensacola.
They toured the atate spend
ing some time with more rela
tives at West Palm Beach.

ger attended the 13th annual
State Association of Oregon
Farm Mutuals held at Wood-
burn Monday and Tuesday.
Representatives from the six
mutuals of the state were pres
ent at the convention, which
was presided over by Fred C
Hnttlnger, president.
The national secretary from
Indiana addressed the croup.

in Mexico, told how the people
celebrate Christmas in Mexico.

Woodburn Cub Scouts under
the direction of the new cub-
master, Dr. A. K. Guild, was
held Friday night at the
Washington school.
Eighteen new members re
ceived their bobcat awards
and are now eligible to wear
the Cub Scout uniform to
meetings.
The theme for the month ia
"Christmas" and the meeting
was opened with a candle light
ceremony by members of Den
