save the Dreamlin queen from the
Oremlins. Suddenly Mr. Not
Much and Mr. Very Little burst
in and announced uuu Willie had
been turned into a cloud.
Santa ran out of the shop and
eased up at the sky. Sure enough
a puffy white cloud was sailing
overhead and Santa could hear I
Willie's voice moaning -n the
cloud.
Mr. Not Much and Mr. Verv

"Who knows?" ther whtsnered.
"The evil kplrlt may change us
into stars or tne moon or some
thing. It was a very bad thing to
nave neipea tne puppy with his
wings.-
"Nonsense." said Santa. "There
is no evil spirit here. Willie has
somehow laiien Into a cloud and
is Deuur mown awav wim It. I
That's all there is to It."
Oh. mvl" cried Mr Not Mni-hl
with relief. "But how will he ever
get out ol tne cloud?"
"I'll have to see about tht "
sighed Santa.
He went to the stahM and
hitched up two reindeer. Then he
ciimoed in the sleigh and shouted:

atop a far away mountain.
When they landed Santa leaoed

"Mr. Cloud Keeper. I have not

Santa. "I have come to ask you
to do something about a little

The old Cloud Keeoe rose from I
his chair. "I can get him out." he
saia. "But it won i oe pleasant lor

pressed three buttons. "There," he
said. "I have changed all the
clouds near Santa Land Into rain
clouds. Soon your puppy will be I
washed out or the sky. '
Santa thanked his friend and
raced back to Santa Land. All the
Santa Land workers had learned
of Willie's troubles. Now they
stood outdoors anxiously watcn

Suddenly there was a clap of I
thunder, a streak ot lightning and
the howl ol a puppy dog
"It's Willie ' cr ed the Dream-

blackest one of all!"
At that moment the cloud burst
open and Willie himself hurtled
toward the ground In a torrent oil
rain. He pancaked down breath

Poor ouo. He put what there
