Cornelius Schar of Silverton Passes Silvertoa Cornelius Schar, 74, a resident of the Silverton community since 1880. died Friday morning at the Patter ton Rest Home in Silverton. Mr. Schar was born in Bluff ton, Ind., March 19, 1879. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schar. He was one of a family of seven children. They came to the Silverton area in 1880 and have lived here since. Mr. Schar is survived by two sisters. Miss Josie Schar and Mrs. Martha DeSart, both of Silverton; and one brother, Al pheus Schar, Silverton. Funeral announcement will be made later by the Ekman Funeral home.
