'. Fulton, also, was an Oregon pioneer, born in Yamhill coun ty May 24, 1852. His parents were CoL James and Priscilla Fulton who were residents of Oregon Territory before 1850. In 1857 they left the Willam ette Valley and settled east of the Cascades. John Fulton entered Whit man college in Walla Walla in the 1870s and after leaving the Institution associated himself with his father in agricultural pursuits. He became a leading citizen of Sherman county with a residence near Wasco where he owned above 2000 acres of ' land. - - . When Mrs. Fulton died, 20 years ago, she was 77 years of age.- .
