Elder Returned
To Salem Area
Gilbert X. Schaeffner hai
been reassigned by the Oregon
conference of Seventh Day Ad-
ventists to the Salem area.
The area includes the Salem,
Hopewell and Silverton church
es. He has just concluded a
four year term in Salem. This
year, due to the Increased size
of the pastorate, Estill D. Rich
ardson has been assigned as
sn assistant pastor to Elder
Schaeffner. Another church has
been established at Turner, at'
though the church building has
not been erected. The group
meets regularly and will be In
eluded in the Salem area.
Mr. Richardsoa graduated is
195J from Walla Walla coUee
