Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Oitrom and sons Rickie and Gregory, left recently for a nine-day trip to Canada, where they will vis it an uncle, Burtle Ostrom. Gorman, is borne on furlough and leaves Aug. 14 for school in New York. His brother, Jim Gorman, was home recently on a 15-day fur lough, leaving only a few days before Joe a arrival. Dr. K. Guild of Wood burn, who is on a two weeks vacation, will reopen his den tal office Aug. 17. Mrs. Mary Haney has re turned - to Woodburn after spending a month's vacation in North Dakota, visiting relatives. Wash., after a week s visit with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Busby. - Mr., and Mrs. Darrell Ward moved to Corvallis, where in the fall. Mr. Ward wiU enter his Junior year at Oregon State College. For the present he will drive to bis father's farm and continue his work for the sum mer.
