that their son. Airman George
Child, Jr., had been injured in
Korea. While on duty guard
ing a supply train he became
Involved in a train wreck sus

right hand. After treatment for
the hand In Korea, he was
flown to Tokyo where he un
derwent surserv. Airman
Child had been stationed at the
air base at Kunsan, Korea,
with the air police. He is a
graduate of Gates high school.
