tend the Oregon bow hunters'

Crater Lake. They were away
over the weekend.

a 10-day vacation trip which
took them to Yellowstone park,
then to Reno. Nov., and San
Francisco, Calif.

Aurora Realty transaction
involved the following prop-
erties recently both in Marion
and Clackamas counties:
A small house in Aurora,
adjacent to the American Le
gion building, owned by Mr,
and Mrs. John Drell, Aurora
Builders Supply, was sold to
Mrs. Ella M. Brewer of Canby.
Willamette river frontage
and acreage at Butteville, to
gether with a residence, was
acquired by Mr. and Mra. G. D.
Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. George King of
Spokane purchased the 33-acre
farm fronting on Boone's Ferry
road just north of Aurora grade
school and bordering also on
Pudding river, owned by Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Groff. The Kings
will take possession about the
middle of August. Mr. and
Mrs. Groff will move to Canby,
where they have bought a
modern 3-bedroora house from
Mrs. Henry Hansen.

was included in the sale of the
native stone and frame home
on the old Pacific highway op

have been completed for the
28th annual dinner and festi
val of St. Luke's parish to be
held Sunday, Aug. 8, and on
Monday, Aug. 10. The family
style chicken dinner will be
Aug. 9, from noon until S
p.m., and preparation are be
ing made to feed between 800
and 700 people. The evening of
Monday, Aug. 10, will be gala
night.
The committee in charge of
the dinner Sunday include

will be ripening in about 10

The earlier variety at this farm
did not produce fruit this sea
son. Sweet corn 1 thriving at the
Cecil Will farm in Grand Island
district and will be on markets
by Aug. 10.
