She suffered compound frac tures of the thigh,, compound fracture of an arm, compound fracture of forearm, basal skull fracture and brain con cussion, besides other injuries including impaired vision of one eye, all of which will keep her confined in a wheel chair for six months. Biggers, publisher of the Atlanta Journal and Atlanta Constitution, was elected presi dent of the American News paper Publishers Association Thursday.
