Scmh (Joyce Smith), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley S. Smith. The reception following was at the Smith residence. Mr. Semb is the son of Air. and Mrs. Anton ftemb, and is with the air force. Semb-Smith Wedding Friday Eve At Church; Reception at Residence White and lavender chrysanthemums, and lighted candles decorated the First Presbyterian church for the Friday eve ning wedding ot Miss Marilyn Joyce Smith and Pfc. Dan H. Semb. The bride Is the daughter nt Mr. and Mrs. Stanley S. Smith and Mr. Semh is the son ot Mr. and Mrs. Anton Semb. The service was solemnized at 8 o'clock, Dr. Henry Marcotte officiating. Down the processional aisle were white bows and lighted tapers at alternate pews. Preceding the ccromo?iy, Terry Murray sang "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer." Mrs. Ralph Dobbs was at the organ, Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length wedding dress of white lnce. It was designed with a scalloped bertha and with the dress the bride wore matching lace mitts. The fingertip illusion veil was arranged from n headpiece of the twisted illusion en twined with pearls. For her flowers the bride carried a Colonial nosegay of pink roses and steplianotis. Miss Patricia Wilson was the bride's only attendant. She wore a strapless gown of purple velveteen bodice and lavender net skirt, a stole of the net being caught at the beli to make streamers down tile back. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs, Smith wore a gray taffeta dress with navy accessories and a corsage of green baby orchids. The bridegroom's moth er wore a gray crepe dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink baby , orchids. The reception following was at the home of the bride's parents on Hanson avenue. The bride's table was set with a pink satin cloth, purple candles and a nosegay at one side of the cake. Mrs. Claude H. Post cut the cake and Mrs. Paul Ocyer poured. At the, punch bowl was Mrs. Bud Wickman, sister of the bridegroom. Assisting wore Miss Mar ilyn Hill. Miss l.uella Campbell, Mrs. Dwight Quiscnbcrry, Mrs. Harvey Love all. Miss Patricia Hay. For going away the bride wore a black jacket dress with matching acces sories, a geranium hat, a camel hair coat and corsage of while orchids. Following a few days at the Oregon beaches the couple will drive to Florida to be at home in Tampa. Mr. Scrub is stationed there with the air force. The meeting of Salem init, Oregon Slate College Mothers club, planned for Monday has been postponed until De cember 3 because of the Community Concert association program this next Monday evening. November meeting for Women of Ro tary will be a luncheon on Monday at 1 o'clock in the Golden Pheasant, Mrs, P. H. Brydon presiding. For the program Mrs. John Versteeg U to give a talk and demonstration on Christmas decorations. Delta 7.eta alumnae are to meet on Tuesday evening next at the home of Mrs. Maurice Shepard, 1590 North 20th, at S o'clock with Mrs. Robert Neu meister as co-hostess. Invitation is ex tended to all new Delta Zelas in town to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Marls ot Portland are here for the week-end as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Dorman. The regular at home day for Mrs. Douglas McKay, wife of Oregon's gov ernor, will be Tuesday, local and out-of-town friends being invited to call that afternoon.
