Seattle, Wash., Sept. 13 W.F0 Irate parents stormed University
of Washington officials with protests today after earning full
length nude photographs were being taken of girls enrolling in
the institution.
School officials said the photographs were being taken for a

many girls said they were not
told why they were being posed.

Over Wide Area
Chicago, Sept. 13 VP) Skies
were cloudy today over wide
areas of the country and cool
weather continued from the
northern Rockies eastward to
the New England states.
The sun was in hiding over
the central Rockies, the central
and southern plains, the Great
Lakes region and the middle
Atlantic states. Showers fell
over most of the cloudy re
gions. Rain also fell in Oklaho
ma, Arkansas and northern
Texas.
Temperatures dropped below
freezing at some points in the
northern Rockies and were in
the 30s over most of the region
and in the northern plains. They
were around normal over the
southern third of the country.
200,000 Bales Cotton
Held in Storage

A new customs order means
that at least 200,000 bales ot
Mexican cotton now stored in
Rio Grande valley warehouses '
cannot be exported without a
U.S. customs export license.
Deputy Collector of Customs
Hugh T. Wood yesterday said
owners of Mexican cotton stored
in this country must file for reg
ular export licenses. This in
volves having a buyer ready in
a U.S. approved country before
the license can be sought. Delays
of various length are anticipated
after application, Wood said. .
The customs official speculat
ed that the purpose of the rul
ing was to keep as much cotton
as possible from going to un
friendly nations.
