Orange Marmalade Nat ureaa
2 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
M teaspoon soda (
Vs teaspoon salt
cup coarsely chopped
pecans
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup orange marmalade
Vi cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon lemon Juice or
vtneffar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Sift flour with baking powder,
anria nnti salt. Stir in nuts. Add
orange marmalade to beaten egg
and blend well. Aaa lemon
Juice to milk, and stir into egg
marmalade mixture, blending
well. Add to the flour mixture
together with the . butter. Stir
only until dry Ingredients are
moistened. Pour nlto a greased
one-pound loaf pan. Bake in a
moderate oven (35u'F.) until
brown, about 90 minutes. Makes
loaf.
